Ikon America's Cup entry, after finding a loophole in the 38th America's Cup rules we have entered the Beneteau 45 under the ACH (America's Cup Handicap) system, representing Hobsons Bay Yacht Club.

Being non-foiling and carrying 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a fridge full of beer, we feel the handicap will favour us compared to the carbon fibre foiling 75 foot competitors.

It will be very tactical downwind racing with Ikon using conventional symetrical spinnakers.

Organisers have until 12pm to accept our entry.
