Lipton Cup Regatta The 2025 Lipton Cup Regatta will be held on 14 - 16 November on the waters of northern Port Phillip

The Lipton Cup Regatta: a fun, affordable weekend of sailing for racing, cruising and classic yachts, sportsboats and trailable yachts, and off-the-beach boats. The sailing program caters for all sailing enthusiasts, offering high-quality racing for the serious racing fraternity and an enjoyable weekend's sailing for the cruising boats. The northern waters of Port Phillip offer excellent sailing,

dramatic views of the city of Melbourne, and fresh summer seabreezes. After sailing, relax to live music on the lawn at the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria while enjoying the warm, friendly atmosphere and stunning views. The Regatta is conducted by the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria in partnership with the Williamstown Sailing Club and the Port Melbourne Yacht Club.

The fleet keeps growing!

A warm welcome to RONSTAN RAWHIDE, the first yacht from Safety Beach Sailing Club to enter the 2026 Lipton Cup Regatta.

It's fantastic to see clubs from across Port Phillip getting behind this year's event, with entries continuing to roll in from around the bay.

Another great entry to welcome!

A big welcome to VALIANT, the first boat from Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron (RMYS) to enter the 2026 Lipton Cup Regatta.

With FREE entry and FREE berthing for visiting boats all weekend, entries are continuing to roll in, and it's fantastic to see clubs from right across Port Phillip getting on board.

A great way to round out the week!

We're excited to welcome our first entry from Geelong, with ROLLERCOASTER joining the fleet for the 2026 Lipton Cup Regatta.

It's fantastic to see boats travelling from across the bay to be part of North Port Phillip's premier regatta. We look forward to welcoming the crew to Royals this November.

Entries are starting to roll in for the Lipton Cup Regatta, and it’s great to see the first boat confirmed from Hobsons Bay Yacht Club - ONYX on the list.

A strong early sign of the fleet building for what’s shaping up to be another competitive regatta on North Port Phillip.

Entries are NOW OPEN for the 2026 Lipton Cup Regatta!
North Port Phillip’s premier regatta is back, with Keelboat and Off the Beach Notices of Race now available.

This year is bigger than ever:
✅ FREE entry
✅ FREE berthing for visiting boats

Racing kicks off Friday 20 November with an invitational twilight race, followed by two full days of competition on Saturday and Sunday (Saturday is also part of the Range Series).

It’s more than racing - expect live music, pop-up can bars, great food and a buzzing waterfront all weekend.
