Wendy Hall and her gorgeous youngster Navaar who are our second Azteca Adventure Park duo to start their ridden career this year has just transitioned from the round yard to the arena and what a day to do it !!! On our Obstacle Fun Day of all days 😂Navaar has always loved his obstacle playground so felt as happy as Larry and right at home with his owner Wendy on his back as he navigated some of his favorite obstacles with ease. What a good boy he is and what a massive journey this has been for Wendy and all our regular private lesson ladies who have been supporting Wendy and each other throughout their journey's with both their youngsters and seasoned competition horses. 🥰 I am so very proud of you Wendy and thoroughly enjoy watching your confidence grow 💛💛💛

Our Obstacle Fun Day on 30/5/26 was a ripper of a day with lovely warm weather and literally no wind for most of the day 😄 We had a variety of equine participants ranging from youngsters to seasoned competitors and a range of activities from inhand, to ridden, to remouthing and a youngsters first ridden lesson out in the arena. If it was on the cards we did it 🤣🤣🤣 That's what a fun day is all about right ? Having fun with our equine partners 🤍💛🧡🤎🩶🖤 Thankyou to all our human participants who I hope went home understanding a little more about the connection they have with their equine partner and how to improve on what is already established.

We fared well here at the Azteca Adventure Park after last nights wind and rain, no trees down that we can see but haven't been out to the back paddocks yet. Our horses are all comfortably eating in their shelters 😋
I hope all our Azteca family, friends and equines have also managed to get through unscaved 🥰🤞

It's been a week now since Sancho arrived and what a week its been 😱 I've experienced a bag of mixed emotions within myself as I have felt Sancho's every emotion.
His thoughts are loud and his vision is cloudy. Looking deep into his eyes through to his soul I've seen sadness and fear of trauma and confusion from his past which has bought me to tears 😭 He has shown me his sweet nature and has tried very hard to listen and except human interaction ♥️ His anxiety levels have reduced considerably and as of last night started eating all his food. He seems content in his surrounds now and even starting to nap on short occasions throughout the day. I'm thankful that Dante and Taniqua are supporting Sancho in his quest for calm with their beautiful laid back Nature's. Even Taniqua who doesn't do boys 🤣 is gentle and friendly towards him 🥰 She must sense his need to heal 💗
Yesterday and today's gentle and very calm training session has seen a massive shift in his attitude and what he is capable of understanding. His willingness to learn is his most valuable asset and will help us move forward to personal growth and the confidence he needs to feel that everything will be OK even when things go wrong.
It's early days and we are only walking but he is calm and his body is softening which is all I can ask of him for now.
What you see in the video is the opposite of the horse I purchased 7 days ago and only 6 days of handling. I couldn't be happier 😃
I've shown him love and support, leadership and kindness but most importantly, I'm speaking his language 💙
I feel he knows he has found his home 🥰

The Azteca Adventure Park has been the height of activity this past week with a new horse calling it his home, multiple private lessons and then topping it off with Young Diego and his owner Valerie MacDonald joining Danielle and myself today for their first bush ride 🥰 To say Diego thoroughly enjoyed himself is an understatement 🤣 Congratulations Valerie, all those months worth of education, patients, lessons, clinics and workshops has paid off. You now have an incredible, very confident and happy riding partner to enjoy your future with 💜💜💜 I couldn't be happier for you 😘

A huge Thankyou to Kyle Harper Remedial today for his dedication in trying to help Sancho release years worth of pain from nose to dock !!! The poor boy has been trying to deal with life while holding on to all this pain which is part of the reason he has severe anxiety. Let's hope this treatment today and more to follow will help see a more relaxed horse. 😥 Kyle certainly earn't his money on this horse.
