This session has been designed to keep every athlete active, with plenty of touches on the basketball, minimal waiting in lines, lower hoops, modified games and lots of opportunities to build confidence in a fun and supportive environment.

Following a late withdrawal due to injury, Tigers NBL1 player Alex Edwards has been called into the U17 Australia Team for the 2026 FIBA U17 World Cup in TΓΌrkiye, taking place from 27 June – 5 July.

It's a fantastic opportunity for Alex and one that is thoroughly deserved.

Head Coach Greg Vanderjagt praised Alex's impact on the program:

"Alex has been a part of the program since our China tour last year and every time he pulls on the green and gold makes an immediate impact.
His vital contributions in Asia helped us secure gold and we have no doubt he will have a significant impact again this campaign. He's a high-energy and versatile athlete who impacts the game in a variety of ways for us. Most importantly, he's a selfless, team-first guy who is willing to sacrifice for our success."

Alex joins Luke Paul (Cairns Taipans Next Star) as the second member of the Australian Crocs squad to come through Willetton Basketball.
