Brian knew he needed more than just treatment—he needed a plan.

After bouncing between clinical only physio sessions, he made the shift to a structured, performance-driven rehab approach. Now it’s about building strength, restoring confidence, and returning to sport better than before.

Rehab isn’t just about getting pain-free. It’s about getting back to your best!

For youth athletes, success in rehab isn’t just about returning to play — it’s about what happens along the way.

Structure, daily coaching, and a strong support environment create the conditions for consistency, confidence, and real physical development during recovery.

Proud of the way Darcy has shown up and stacked the small wins through the early stages of his ACL rehab journey.

Built brick by brick 🧱🏈

Ashton’s put in hours of consistent work over the last 5 years or so with us — building the basics, learning how to train properly, and stacking a solid foundation for what’s ahead. 🧱💪

Proud to see it translate onto the field, especially with his recent Colts debut for

This is what long-term development looks like. 🚀

Pre-surgery rehab matters more than most people realise.

🧠 Evidence shows that structured ACL “prehab” improves post-op outcomes 💪—helping restore strength, reduce swelling, and improve knee function going into surgery, often leading to better recovery milestones afterwards 📈.

Paige completed her pre-surgery programme, showing exactly that high-quality rehab can just look like normal performance training when it’s done well and a whole lot more fun than sitting and waiting for surgery day 😀

All the best for your recovery from surgery yesterday Paige ❤️—back to work soon 💪

Consistency is what builds athletes.

Not the occasional big session or makeshift program — but showing up and doing the work over time.

But consistency without structure can still fall flat..

So ask yourself.. areyou training with structure, or just staying consistent without direction?

HAMSTRING rehab outcomes are heavily influenced by early, intelligent loading from day 1, rather than pure rest (depending on grade + symptoms etc).

This is an example session completed 48hrs post injury (grade 2B hamstring).

The aim, if well tolerated (it was 😉), is to repeat daily and progress into running around day 3–6.

Early intervention is about strategic loading that drives adaptation while respecting tissue healing capacity.

Research and applied practice consistently show early loading improves return to play timeframes, tissue resilience, and reduces recurrence risk compared to delayed models 📊

It also helps keep athletes engaged rather than sidelined and disengaged during early rehab.

This series highlights 4 key early-stage strategies:

BFR circuit🩸
Enhances early cell signalling and type II fibre recruitment at low mechanical load.

Early running drills 🏃‍♂️
Maintains stiffness and keeps (graded) high intensity actions before full sprint exposure later.

PATS protocol (agility + trunk control)
Develops lumbopelvic and multi-planar control, key contributors to hamstring load reduction at speed and loads lateral patterns which are often tolerated better early.

Early eccentric + isometrics 💪
Improves pain tolerance while restoring force capacity in sprint-relevant tissues.

Key shift:
Early progressive loading vs delayed return to running ⏱️

That difference drives:
• Faster RTP 🚀
• Lower reinjury rates 🛡️
• Better high-speed readiness ⚡

Still so early in her athletic development and already showing what a great rehab and performance mindset looks like.

After initial heartache, Grace has taken every step of her ACL journey in her stride — consistent, positive, and willing to embrace the tough days as much as the good ones. 💪

It’s not always easy, but she continues to show up, put in the work, and lean into the process.

The best part? Seeing her grow not just physically, but in confidence along the way.

Love your attitude, Grace — it’s what makes the difference 👏

Hard work in action 💪🏀

Big shoutout to one of our junior athletes, Lily, for bringing the energy and consistently showing up ready to improve over the past 6 months— the results so far speak for themselves 👏🏽

Shown is just a snippet of the basics of movement and strength she is laying down each session.

Pre Season number 2 in the books for our strength and conditioning and rehab partner club !

A big thanks to the Futures, U21 and Open squads for putting in such amazing effort on field and in the gym since November.

With futures wrapping up their season recently, we now look forward to watching the senior squads compete in the 2026 !
