If you’re working towards your protein and macro goals but still want something sweet, these Hot Cross Bun protein bites from are the perfect balance of festive, satisfying and macro-friendly. Serves: 8. Prep time: 10 mins. Ingredients: 1 ½ cups oat flour, ⅓ cup White Choc Malt Easter Egg Almond Protein (or protein of choice), ¼ cup maple syrup (or honey), ¼ cup almond butter (or your choice of nut butter), ⅓ cup coconut yoghurt, 100g dark chocolate, melted. Method: Mix all ingredients (except chocolate) until well combined. The mixture should be thick and not overly sticky. Roll 1 heaped tablespoon into balls and place on baking paper. Drizzle melted dark chocolate over the top like a cross (just like hot cross buns) and place in the fridge to set. Per serve (approx.): 💪 Protein: 10g, 🥑 Fat: 11g, 🍌 Carbs: 25g, ⚡ Calories: 243. Note: Macros (protein, fats, carbs and calories) may vary depending on the protein powder and nut butter you choose. Enjoy Easter, hit your goals, and fuel your training the smart way. 🍫✨
