The team headed to the first round of the Australian Formula Powerboat Grand Prix Series with three boats last weekend on Lake Macquarie at Rathmines.

Sienna had her first run in the J2 class stepping up from J1 with her 6hp boat and racing against the 9.9hp boats. She handled the tough rough conditions like a pro to take out 2nd place overall for the weekend.

Melissa had her first run in the series with her 550 boat. Showing good speed and consistency she got a couple of third placings in the tough rough conditions.

Jason King had a run in the 550 class also bringing his Yamato tunnel out after sitting in the shed for the last 25 years. He was straight on the pace running up the front of the field. If he had 50mls more fuel he would have come away with a win.

Unfortunately both 550 boats come away with some damage after separate incidents. All drivers involved were okay and that is the main thing. We will rebuild the boats and get back out on the water.
We would like to thank the AFPGP for putting on a great event.

Great weekend at the Windsor Spectacular, with Sienna competing in Formula Future J1. Sienna competed alongside her cousin Lucas and her good friends. Lucas was also stoked to take away 3rd Place in the inaugural Glenn Banks trophy, he has worked hard all year to try and improve his boat and racing, well done Lucas. Sienna and Lucas were cheered on this weekend by a lot of family and friends, thank you to all of you for your support.
