Please see relevant info for this season from tonight’s committee meeting.
Teams to supply an umpire as per listed on official fixtures – 1 point will be deducted if no umpire supplied unless prior arrangement is made and as such may affect positioning on the ladder
Umpire to select best player (3,2,1) and enter on to score sheet at the end of the game
With only 6 teams this year – we will run an A and B grade finals series to be decided at the end of season premiership ladder. Each team will play each other 3 times during the home and away season
o First will go straight to the A grade GF
2nd will play 3rd - winner will go on to play 1st in the A grade GF
o 4th will go straight to the B grade GF
5TH will play 6th – winner will go on to play 4th in the B grade GF
o Games to be played Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday at 715pm as per official fixture – if any games need to be changed due to prior commitments, then all changes must go through Junior for confirmation with Wickham Recreational Precinct
Competition to run from:
o Season start Tuesday 9th November 2021 – Official fixture to be supplied prior to this date
o Christmas break 16th December 2021
o Second half start date - January 25th 2022
o GF date 2nd April
Team registration fees will remain at $600 per team, all Captains are accountable to have the fees paid to the Treasurer by the 4th round of competition or points will be deducted
Team numbers capped at 25 – rego forms/waiver to be signed and emailed to [email protected] - all Captains are accountable to have the rego forms/waiver signed and emailed by the 4th round of competition or points will be deducted. Please NOTE no player shall play without having signed team sheet
According to the Indoor Cricket Australia Ruling, the central umpire is the only umpire required per game, SICC encourages all teams to utilise square leg and non-striker’s line umpires
Team forfeits will attract a 100-0 result and loss of competition points.
