Yesterday, Wanderers and Croatia took part in Mental Health Matters Round, helping kick off important conversations about mental health within our sporting community.

To mark the occasion, players from both clubs mixed together for two combined squad photos in their special Mental Health Matters Round kits.

The kits were designed by local students, making them an incredibly meaningful part of an event focused on breaking stigmas, raising awareness and reminding people that it’s okay to speak up.

A huge thank you to Whyalla City Council and headspace Whyalla for the work they put into organising the round and all the activities surrounding it.

We also sincerely thank the sponsors and supporting organisations whose funding helped make the event possible.

Congratulations to Daryl Robinson for getting man of match in the A-Grade!
Daryl delivered a huge performance, finishing the game with two goals and covering an impressive 11.4km during the match.

Thank you to Whyalla Croatia Soccer & Social Club for embracing the occasion, and to all the players, students, clubs, special guests, volunteers, families and supporters who contributed to such a successful day.

The combined photos capture exactly what the round was about—not opposition or results, but two clubs standing together to show that mental health matters.

Breaking stigmas. Raising awareness. Uniting our community. 💚

It was great to see so many of them getting involved and thinking creatively.
