Whorouly Football Netball Club Whorouly is more than just a club we are a community of friends and family 🦁 We welcome any new and old players and supporters into our friendly club.

Whorouly Football & Netball Club is a well established sporting club in the Ovens and King Football & Netball League, fielding 2 Football Teams and 5 Netball Teams. Whorouly is a well-established Club in the Ovens and King Football & Netball League, being one of the first Clubs to officially join the League in 1904. Whorouly field two football sides Seniors and Reserves, (our thirds amalgamated wi

th Milawa FNC and are known as the Snow Road Saints) and are the proud host club for the AFLNEB Youth girls football side the Alpine Lions. There are five netball sides in the competition, A grade, B grade, B Reserve, C grade (U17s), and U15s. If you have any questions don't hesitate to get into contact.

It’s a HUGE week for the Whorouly Lions. 🦁

We’ve battled through some tough years, but what kept our club going was the people, the culture, the community and most importantly, believing in each other.

This Saturday, our Reserves and Senior Footballers along with our A and B Grade Netball teams will all run out in a Grand Final.

Our A Grade netballers made it to the big dance last year and are back again, determined to go one step further.

Our footballers haven’t played in a Grand Final since 2012 and haven’t won one since 2007, 19 years ago!

It’s been a long road but we kept showing up, kept believing and kept backing each other and now we get to play in the game of all games.

The hard work isn’t done yet, but what an incredible milestone for our club.

We’ve put in the hard work, commitment and effort all season, and now it all comes down to this. This is our last chance to take the next step and keep our season alive!
So get down to North Wang and get behind our footy and netball teams! 📣Bring your voices, your energy and your support — every bit of encouragement from the sidelines can help push our players over the line.
To all our players — leave nothing out there! Trust the work you’ve put in all season, back yourselves, play for each other and give it everything you’ve got. 💪
