Whittlesea Tennis & Pickleball Club

Our Tennis Club is situated on the northern out skirts of the City of Whittlesea we have a growing population with many new developments being built.

We have 8 courts under lights which 3 courts have been marked out for Pickleball! We have a large club house with kitchen, office, lounge area, dance floor and seating areas, outside we have BBQ facilities and an outdoors rotunda and play area, and ample parking.

A group of our crazy Pickleballers made the trip down to the Warrnambool Pickleball Open over the weekend! 🏓🚗

Flying the Whittlesea colours were Jess, Stephen, Scott, Nicole and Andrew, joined by Tom. We also had plenty of support from the sidelines, with Brooke, George, Tracey, Jamie and our junior cheer squad, Mackenzie and Isaac, cheering everyone on throughout the weekend. 👏💙💛

The weekend brought some fantastic results:

🥉 Stephen – Bronze Medal, Men’s 3.0–3.49 Singles
🥉 Jess – Bronze Medal, Women’s 3.49 & Under Singles
🥉 Scott & Stephen – Bronze Medal, Men’s 3.0–3.49 Doubles
🥇 Jess & Stephen – Gold Medal, 3.0–3.49 Mixed Doubles

While not everyone came home with a medal, everyone represented themselves brilliantly, showed great sportsmanship, and most importantly had a fantastic weekend of pickleball.

A huge congratulations to all our players and a special thank you to Brooke, Tracey, Jamie, Mackenzie, Isaac and George for keeping the support loud and proud from the sidelines. It’s always great seeing our pickleball community come together, whether competing on the court or cheering from the stands.

Well done everyone! We can’t wait for the next tournament adventure! 🏓💙💛

A huge congratulations to our Wednesday Night Ladies Section 3 team on taking home the Grand Final win last night! 🎉🎾

What an incredible season and a fantastic result to finish it off in style. Your teamwork, determination, sportsmanship and commitment throughout the season have been outstanding, and we’re so proud to see your hard work rewarded with a premiership.

What a fantastic way to finish off our Whittlesea Pickleball League season tonight! 🎉

Over the past few months we’ve seen some incredible rallies, plenty of laughs, great sportsmanship, and most importantly, a wonderful community come together through the sport we all love.

A huge thank you to all of our teams and players who participated throughout the season. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and friendly competition are what made the league such a success. Whether you finished at the top of the ladder or simply came along each week for a hit and some fun, you all helped create something special.

Congratulations to all of our finalists and medal winners! 🏅

We’d also like to give a massive shout-out to SAVA Apparel for generously sponsoring and supplying our fantastic medals this season. Your support is greatly appreciated and helped make our presentations even more special.

Thank you as well to everyone behind the scenes who helped organise fixtures, set up courts, keep scores, and ensure each week ran smoothly.

What a fantastic day hosting our very first Skills & Drills Clinic at the Whittlesea Tennis & Pickleball Club 🎉🏓

A massive thank you to the one and only Tam aka The Pickleball Dentist for bringing the energy, knowledge, laughs and elite-level tips to our club! From dinking and resets to court positioning and strategy, everyone walked away learning something new — no matter their skill level 🙌

It was great to have a small group setting for the clinic, allowing everyone plenty of court time, personalised feedback, and the opportunity to really focus on improving different areas of their game 🔥

The atmosphere all afternoon was fantastic and it’s exciting to see the pickleball community continuing to grow here in Whittlesea 💚

Huge thanks as well to everyone who came along and supported the clinic. Days like today are what community sport is all about — learning, connecting, improving and having fun.

We can’t wait to do more events like this in the future 👀🏓

Those who have been to our socials recently would have seen our brand new heavy-duty pickleball nets in action 🙌🏓

This upgrade is a huge step forward for our growing pickleball program and will help improve the experience across our social sessions, competitions and future events.

These new nets wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of Whittlesea Physiotherapy & Clinical Pilates, who generously helped make this happen for our club and community. We are extremely grateful for their ongoing support of local sport and recreation.

As our pickleball community continues to grow, support like this helps us keep improving what we can offer both current and future members 💙💚
