The Weston Bears would like to congratulate our players, Ava Thompson, Lachlan Davey & Connor Davey who have been successful in gaining selection in the 2026 Community State Youth Championships Indigenous Teams! 🖤💛❤️

Your hard work, dedication and commitment to the game have paid off and we are incredibly proud to see you representing both your community and the Bears on such a big stage.

This achievement is a testament to the effort you put in both on and off the field and we know you will do yourselves, your families and the club proud.

Weston Junior Football Club are looking forward to hosting their second lot of home games at Hunter City Motor Group Stadium this weekend. Our local community are fortunate to have this fantastic facility for all Bear players, big and small, to showcase their talent.

A big shoutout to our U15 boys, Archer and Lachie, who proudly represented Weston Bears JFC over the weekend, stepping up to support the Senior club as ball boys for both Reserve Grade and First Grade NPL matches 👏⚽
Your effort, enthusiasm and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed. Opportunities like this show the strength of our pathway and what it means to be part of the Bears community.
It’s fantastic to see the junior and senior clubs grow together. These experiences not only build confidence and connection for our young players, but also strengthen the culture of the entire club from the ground up.

We’re excited to invite all players and parents to our Meet & Greet afternoon!

📅 Monday 23rd March
🕔 5:00pm
📍 Hunter City Motor Group Stadium (new facility next to Weston Workers Club). Entry via gates off the new car park. Please make your way to the function room located underneath the main grand stand.

This is a great opportunity for players and parents to meet other players and coaches ahead of the season. Training days and times will also be organised, along with uniform orders/ sizes.
