Beach day with our Globetrotting riders! 🌊🐎💨

The horses were feeling AMAZING today… safe to say spring has officially kicked in 🤣🌸 A little extra bounce in everyone’s step!

Nothing quite like galloping along a Tassie beach with a very enthusiastic crew of horses! 😂❤️

Ray on Darcey, and me on my little pocket rocket Arabian, Stingo! ❤️

Darcey is still going strong, doing trail rides and taking great care of some of our more nervous riders. Stingo has been retired for years after being diagnosed with arthritis in his hips and so far has spent his retirement being the best “uncle” to our babies growing up… and now those babies are nearly ready to be broken in themselves! 🥹

Do I feel old? Yes… a little. 😂

But not NEARLY as old as my other half! Hahahahaha 🤪🤣

A beautiful morning trail ride with some lovely clients 🌿 followed by working a few of the young horses… which definitely didn’t go to plan 🙈

Thankfully, we finished the day before sunset with a lovely relaxing ride, Nicole & Hercules, and me on my beautiful Sunny boy. ☀️💛

☀️ Meet Sunny! ☀️

Sunny is our gorgeous palomino Arabian, turning 5 this year and just starting his career as a trail riding horse. 🐴💛

This season is all about learning the ropes! He’ll be ridden by our guides and joining some of our shorter rides, gaining plenty of experience and confidence.

Then next year, he’ll be ready to step up and start taking guests out on adventures. 🥰

We think this handsome young man has a very bright future ahead of him, watch this space! ☀️🐴 Thanks to Nicole for the photo☺️

A little look behind the scenes during our off-season… 🐴

This isn’t a typical day with clients, it’s the work that happens beforehand, getting our young and new horses experienced, confident and ready for the season ahead.

Muddy paddocks, feeding, training rides, horse hair everywhere… and 25,000 steps by the end of the day! 😂

A little chaotic, but I wouldn’t swap it for anything. ❤️
