Thornton Junior Football Club is excited to announce our 2026 Under 5/6/7 Charity Gala Day!

📅 Sunday 28 June 2026
📍 Thornton Junior Football Club
👧👦 Teams can have up to 7 players
💰 $140 per team ($20/player in a team of 7)

This special event is a charity gala day, with all proceeds being donated to the Starlight Children’s Foundation ⭐❤️

Each registered player will receive:
🎟 An all-day wristband for the inflatables
🏅 A participation medallion at the end of the day

We will have Any Given sundae Ice Cream Van and a face painter there on the day too.

Additional wristbands for siblings will be available for purchase for $10 each.

It’s going to be a fantastic day full of football, fun and community spirit — all while supporting an amazing cause 🔴⚫🔥

Our lucky Scratchey lotto tree winner this weekend was the amazing Allanna Snedden.
Her hard work selling them for the club each week come back with good Karma today.

Our super star Player of the matches for the weekend, Always doing Westy proud.
Everyone had such an amazing weekend and sounded like some great close games where played.
We are so lucky to have such a great Community and family vibe at our Soccer club, thank you to all our families each weekend for all your help and support for the kids and the club all your Volunteering doesn't go unnoticed so thank you.

🚗 Parking Reminder – Please Park Responsibly
We would like to remind all members and visitors to please ensure you are parking correctly and legally when attending Gregory Park.
Please only park in designated parking spaces marked with white lines and avoid parking in non-designated areas, access ways, or anywhere that may obstruct other vehicles.
Unfortunately, today there was an incident where a vehicle parked in a non-parking area made it extremely difficult for legally parked cars to exit, resulting in damage to a parked vehicle.
We understand game days can be busy, however taking an extra moment to park correctly helps keep everyone safe, prevents unnecessary damage, and ensures all families can enter and leave the grounds without issues.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping make our game days enjoyable and safe for everyone.

What a weekend for our Westy kids! 💙⚽🌧️
Rain, mud, wet socks and huge smiles — the kids absolutely had an absolute ball out there this weekend and loved every minute of it. There’s just something special about muddy soccer days and seeing the kids having fun, laughing and giving it their all for their teammates.
A massive congratulations as well to all of our Player of the Match recipients this week 👏
Your effort, sportsmanship, teamwork and determination never go unnoticed. We are so proud of every single one of our Westy players who represented the club with great spirit all weekend long.
Win, lose or covered head to toe in mud… that’s what junior soccer memories are made of 💙🤍
