It’s that time of the year Pro athletes re evaluate their seasons and fine tune things such as bike position to get an extra edge on their competition. Was great to have Lucy Kennedy and Shara Gillow in the last couple of weeks. Below are some before and after shots after a few tweaks.

How do you make sure you buy the correct size MTB that will suit your riding style, goals and your body's limitations?

You get a bike fit before you buy a bike!!!

We will put you on our sizing bike and set you up in the ideal bike position. We then search for bikes that will fit that ideal bike fit position closest. We then send you a report with a list of bikes that will fit you well including the best components (crank length, handlebar width and saddle). Then you can go bike shopping confident in the knowledge that you are buying the correct size bike to meet your style of riding, goals and your body. Once you have bought a bike we do a 2nd bike fit appointment to make sure the bike is set up optimally for you.

Congratulations to Luke Willian on his 6th place in the World Triathlon Series race on the Gold Coast on the weekend. This lifts his ITU would raking to 10th. Luke will be back in the studio again soon to review his bike fit before heading overseas for the European season.

Congratulations to Bike Fit Studio - Brisbane client Luke Willian on winning the ITU World Cup Mooloolaba race on Saturday. This was a break through win for Luke and has gained him automatic entry into the ITU WTS Gold Coast event next month to race against the world's best. Luke your hard work is paying off.

Yesterday Mark Watts rode and watched the Pros tackle the imposing Checkers Hill climb that is 3km long at an average of 5% but has a difficult 500m section at an average of 15%. Race leader Richie Porte made it look easy!!

Bike Fit Studio fitter Mark C Watts is down in Adelaide watching the Tour Down Under. There are some breath taking vistas in Adelaide and surrounding hills. Mark has caught up with a number of his fitting clients while riding and socializing.

Ensuring your fit is comfortable and efficient is critical for a riding holiday such as following the TDU . A little ni**le at home can quickly turn into something more sinister very quickly when doing more kms and lots of climbing.
