Such a beautiful afternoon with our U3–5s for our Come & Try + Father’s Day event! ⚽️🤎

So many little smiles, lots of energy, plenty of football and some very proud dads and father figures on the sidelines.

A huge thank you to everyone who came down and spent the afternoon with us. We loved being able to welcome some new little faces, share what EFA is all about and celebrate Father’s Day together with our academy community.

We hope the kids had just as much fun as we did! ⚽️

Happy Father’s Day to all of the amazing dads, stepdads, grandads and father figures who are such a special part of our EFA family. 💙⚽️

We see the the rushing from work to training, the weekends spent on the sidelines, the long drives, the muddy boots, the words of encouragement and the quiet support that happens behind the scenes.

You are such a big part of your child’s football journey, but even more importantly, you are part of the memories they will carry with them long after the final whistle.

Thank you for showing up, for cheering them on, for picking them up when things don’t go their way and for celebrating every little win with them.

We feel very lucky to have so many wonderful fathers and father figures within our academy community.

We hope today is a reminder of just how loved, valued and appreciated you are.

Because for us, football is only part of the story.

It’s the community that supports each other, the coaches who genuinely care about every player, and the environment that makes kids want to keep showing up, learning and improving.

We want our players to work hard, build confidence, make friendships, enjoy the game and feel proud to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Our community. Our team. Our vibe.

That’s what makes EFA, EFA. 🩷⚽️

This last week, the challenge was handed back over to the teams… and we have absolutely loved watching these! 😂👏

What an amazing effort from everyone, the creativity, teamwork and commitment have been incredible, and there have definitely been plenty of laughs along the way! 🙌

Another week, another challenge! 🙌

Congratulations to our Under 12s for taking out this week’s fun challenge! 🏆👏

Not every challenge is football-related, but every challenge is about teamwork, having fun and building connections.

Today it was the girls’ turn… and let’s just say, I’m not sure there was a winner. 😂💦

On another note, it was so good to watch them communicate, problem-solve and work together to figure out the best strategy… all while trying not to end up soaked! That’s what it’s all about, learning, laughing and building teamwork along the way.

Now for the big question…

Should the coaches be next? 👀

Gareth seems to think we won’t get enough votes, but I’ve told him not to underestimate our EFA community! 😏
