Last week, our Kelly Sports Adelaide Metro team was invited by the Minister for Education,
Training & Skills Blair Boyer and the Minister for Sport & Recreation Rhiannon Pearce to attend
a media event alongside Premier of South Australia Peter Malinauskas and local MP Alex
Dighton, celebrating policies designed to make youth sport more accessible.
Our team loved running sports activities for the children attending, as the enthusiasm, energy
and sense of community displayed by the kids as they engaged in our sports shows why
initiatives like these are so important.
Through our work in the Adelaide Metro community, we have seen how programs like sports
vouchers open doors for kids to participate in organised sport, build confidence, make friends
and develop healthy habits, regardless of their familyβs financial situation.
Events like this highlight the power of community support for youth sport. By making sport
accessible, enjoyable and inclusive, we can inspire more children to get active, discover their
potential and create lifelong memories through the games they play.
