Strong hamstrings generate explosive power for running, jumping, and sprinting. They’re key players in hip extension and knee flexion—core movements in most sports.

2. 🧘 Reduced Risk of Injury

Flexible and strong hamstrings help stabilize the knees and hips, reducing strain on joints and lowering your risk of:

Hamstring strains or tears

ACL injuries

Lower back pain

Alizee's consistency is paying off. Gaining more range and strength over the last 6 Months has opened the door to new and exciting moves.

Progress in these areas is so rewarding. Being able to do something today that was unachievable yesterday acts as the perfect motivation.

Spending time in the basics, like this Taylor's pose, pay dividends when you apply that new range to more complex movement patterns.

Coach demonstrating a quality example of Strength and Mobility combined. Taking joints to the end range, twisting them then hanging full bodyweight from them, takes time to master.

Time to prime the nervous system, strengthen and lengthen tendon and ligament and time to build enough muscle density to hold things together without breaking.

Hitting this level takes consistency, patience and trust in the process.

To get there, programming that works like a ladder is necessary. Start with a similar movement at a lower intensity, then another a little harder, a few more and voila! You're practicing the "meat hook" like Jesse!
