BEHIND THE BIB • EPISODE 2 | DARCIE MITCHELL | DANCE 💃

Long before Darcie pulled on a Kulcha bib, she was finding her rhythm on the dance floor. ❤️

Darcie has been dancing since she was just two years old, growing up across Jazz, Hip Hop, Ballet and Contemporary and she has certainly made her mark along the way.

Her dance troupes have enjoyed an incredible run of success over the years, placing and winning across multiple styles and competitions, with Darcie playing her part in some seriously impressive performances.

But her achievements don’t stop there.

Darcie has just completed her Grade 6 Ballet examinations, achieving a Highly Commended result. 🩰✨

And while she has developed across so many styles, there’s one where Darcie really comes alive…

HIP HOP. 🔥

It’s her strongest style and honestly?

She’d probably surprise you. 👀❤️

Because that’s the beauty of Behind the Bib.

We know Darcie as the player who takes the court in our Kulcha whānau, but there is an entire world of talent, discipline, creativity and passion sitting behind that bib.

From the netball court to the dance floor, Darcie continues to show us that our people can move, create, compete and achieve in so many different spaces.

And we’re not done watching her shine just yet. ✨

Darcie’s next dance event is coming up on November 7th & 8th at Werribee Theatre, where she’ll once again take to the stage and do what she loves. 💃🏽🔥
