Formed in 1983, Werribee Giants Baseball Club has always striven to be competitive, fun and family orientated. Get involved today!

Werribee Giants Baseball Club was formed in 1983 primarily as a Winter Baseball Club to give players from the VBA Summer Competition somewhere to play in the Winter. After several years playing in the Geelong Baseball Association the Club decided it was time to step up and joined the Victorian Baseball Association in 1994. Werribee is a very progressive club, and from very humble beginnings where

the club played on what could best be described as a sheep paddock which had a good diamond on, but no clubrooms etc. progressed to what now rates as an exceptionally good complex. The main diamond is fully enclosed with lights for training purposes, a double batting cage and a six person bullpen and one of the best scorers' boxes of any club. Our second diamond is large enough to play two junior games without encroaching on each other and we will shortly be installing fencing and seating with plans to further improve this area in the planning stages.

Jimmy comes into the role with a strong focus on player development, accountability, preparation and enjoyment, with a clear vision for building a positive and competitive club environment.

“I’m really looking forward to taking on this role and can’t wait to get involved! I’m passionate about creating a strong one-club culture, where players support each other across all grades, standards are set and maintained, and everyone contributes to making the club a place people are proud to represent.”

We’re looking forward to seeing Jimmy lead the way as we continue to build a stronger, more connected and competitive Giants program.

🚨 WELCOME BACK, BRONWYN GELL! 🚨

We’re incredibly excited to announce Bronwyn Gell as Head Coach of the Werribee Giants Women’s Program!

Bronwyn brings an incredible 20+ years of baseball experience, including six Women’s World Cup appearances for Australia, two World Cup medals, five Victorian National Championships, and two Australian Championship MVP awards.

A highly accomplished player and experienced coach, Bronwyn brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership and passion to our Women’s Program.

Welcome back to the Giants, Bron! We can’t wait to see what’s ahead. 💙⚾
