Venture Polo is fully insured and has an assortment of specialised polo ponies to suit the experience, riding ability and confidence of the individual. During the polo season, Venture Polo also fields and manages competing polo teams within the state and national polo circuit. Wooden Horse Lessons

Perfect your swing technique before stepping into the saddle. Our purpose-built wooden horse sessions allow players to focus on polo positioning, shot technique, and swing mechanics without the riding component — ideal for beginners or those refining fundamentals.

Designed for those completely new to polo. Learn the foundations of the game with expert instruction while we provide all horses, equipment, and guidance needed to get started on your polo journey.

Autumn Polo!

With the weather looking good this week, we are going to make the most of it and attempt to run an Instructional Tournament — giving those just starting out the opportunity to experience something a little more structured and formal than our usual weekend chukkas.

Where possible, we will aim to create set teams for the weekend to give everyone a better feel for game structure, teamwork, and tournament-style polo. That said, we completely understand that at this time of year many have outside commitments, so if you are only able to attend one day, we will of course work around that.

As we head toward winter, we will endeavour to stay on the grass for as long as conditions and weather restrictions allow, and we hope to see as many of you out playing week to week before the season slows down.

Lessons can also be arranged outside of the scheduled chukkas.
