That wraps up the 2026 finals series.

We were lucky to have six teams advance to the finals, with two of them coming out as champions.

We take immense pride in every FRSC player; regardless of their qualification for the finals, it’s all about progress. The growth that each player has experienced this season has been truly remarkable.

A massive congratulations to our U12 Black side! They have achieved the highest honor as aa team by finishing the season at the top of the ladder as league premiers, and winning the grand final as cup winners. This remarkable accomplishment is a true testament to their dedication and hard work throughout the season.

We also want to extend an honorable mention to their two outstanding coaches, Mike Lockyer and Paul Mclounan, for their phenomenal guidance and support.

Congratulations to our League 1 Women ! A very gritty, challenging and rewarding finals series to a really deserving group of ladies. The second grand final FRSC women have ever been in; 14 years after their frist, and the first time winning it. We can’t express how proud we are enough, it is an amazing feat that all of our girls should hold extremely high - honourable mention to their Coach, Callum Best!

A heartfelt thank you to Football Victoria and the Greater Ballarat Region for organizing an outstanding finals series. In many ways, it surpassed previous years, which is truly remarkable for everyone involved.

Next up.
