Golden Dragons Ballarat Boat Club Golden Dragons Ballarat is a competitive Dragon Boat Club that provides social and paddling opportunities for it's Members

Golden Dragons can be seen paddling on Lake Wendouree Ballarat. Since the clubs formation in December 2012, we have managed at acquire 2 new boats, a trailer and all the equipment required for paddling, through community support and fundraising. Our Aims:
* Have fun and develop as a team
* Embrace the involvement of the diverse cultures of our club.
* Help develop Dragon Boating as a growing commu

nity sport in Ballarat and surrounding Districts.
* Grow to have teams participate in events and competitions Nationally and Internationally.
* Encourage participation from all ages between 12 and 100

Paddling Times:
During Daylight Savings (5th October 2014 until 5th April 2015)
* Saturday 3:30pm for 4:00pm on the water
* Wednesdays 5:30pm for 6:00pm on the water
* Other times may be arranged for on and off water training. During Winter Months
* Saturday 9:15am pm for 9:30pm on the water
* Wednesday 6:00pm off water training

Boats are launched from the boat ramp at Durham Point, North Shore, Lake Wendouree
