⚽️ Wellington Warriors FC – Round 6 Recap ⚽️
Another big weekend in Warriors colours and another great display of commitment, teamwork, and club spirit across all grades. 💛
🌟 Over 30s Women
The ladies continued to set the standard with a strong performance, combining experience, determination, and excellent teamwork throughout the match.
⭐ Players' Player: Sara Darney
Sara was outstanding this week, finding the back of the net three times and playing a key role in the team's success. Her ability to link up with her teammates, create opportunities through quality passing, and finish her chances helped secure an important win. Just as importantly, Sara's positive attitude and encouragement on the field continue to lift those around her.
💪 Over 35s Men
A hard-fought contest for the Over 35s Men, who showed plenty of resilience and never stopped competing. Their effort and positive attitude were evident right to the final whistle.
⭐ Players' Player: Paul Campion
Paul led by example with his communication, teamwork, and commitment throughout the game. Constantly supporting his teammates, organising play, and making himself available across the field, Paul played an important role in keeping the team connected and working together. His positive influence and work ethic were on display from start to finish.
⚽️ 1st Grade Women
The women put together another impressive team performance, working hard for one another and showing great character when it mattered most.
⭐ Players' Player: Sam Cremona
Sam's leadership and positivity were invaluable throughout the match. Playing from the goals, she consistently stepped up when the team needed her most, encouraging those around her and helping keep the girls focused and motivated. Her determination, communication, and team-first attitude continue to be a huge asset to the side.
🔥 2nd Grade Men
The boys brought plenty of energy and intensity to their game, with a strong team-first mentality helping them put together an impressive performance.
⭐ Players' Player: Ethan Norcott
One of our newcomers to the club this season, Ethan has quickly shown what it means to be a Warrior. His determination, commitment, and willingness to contribute have made a positive impact both on and off the field. Ethan's hard work is continuing to pay off, and his efforts throughout the game were a great example of the dedication he brings to the club each week.

📅 June Long Weekend Bye
All Warriors teams will enjoy a well-earned break over the June Long Weekend, with no matches scheduled.
🏟️ We'll be back in action on Friday, June 12, when our Over 30's Women's teams return to home turf. We can't wait to see our Warriors supporters back on the sidelines cheering the girls on!
