CONGRATULATIONS | 🏐 Netball Season Wrap 2026 🏐

What a fantastic netball season it has been for Redlands College! Across a busy calendar featuring ISC, Tigers Showdown, CSSAQ Netball and the prestigious Vicki Wilson Cup, our players consistently demonstrated outstanding skill, determination, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Our ISC campaign was particularly successful, with five teams claiming titles:
πŸ† Senior Girls A Champions
πŸ† Intermediate Girls B Champions
πŸ† Junior Girls A Champions
πŸ† Junior Girls B Champions
πŸ† Primary Girls A Champions

At the Tigers Showdown, our Senior Girls continued their strong form, securing an impressive πŸ₯‰ 3rd place finish against quality opposition from across the region.

At CSSAQ Netball, our teams once again rose to the challenge, highlighted by:
πŸ₯‡ Senior Girls Champions
πŸ₯‡ Junior Girls B Division 2 Champions
πŸ₯‰ Junior Girls A – 3rd Place

The season concluded with an outstanding performance at the Vicki Wilson Cup, where our Senior Girls finished πŸ₯‰ 3rd in the highly competitive Met East region, narrowly missing progression to the next stage after a series of quality performances against some of the state's strongest schools.

These achievements are a testament to the commitment of our players, who represented the College with pride throughout the season. Whether competing hard or continuing to develop their game, every team contributed to a season that showcased the strength of netball at Redlands College.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible coaching team for investing their time into our students at any point during the season: Danni, Ange, Ella, Lila, Mrs Van, Miss Collier, Mrs Turner, Miss Lane, Mrs Rofeta, Miss Ferguson and Mrs Gerlach. Your passion, encouragement and dedication have played a significant role in the success and growth of our players this season.

Congratulations to all involved on a remarkable netball season. We look forward to building on these successes in 2027!

CONGRATULATIONS | RC Touch Football teams
πŸ†πŸ† CSSAQ Touch Football Champions! πŸ†πŸ†

What an outstanding day of Touch Football for Redlands College at the CSSAQ Touch Football event!

With 8 teams competing across 6 divisions, our students produced a remarkable performance, bringing home four Premier Division titles:
πŸ₯‡ Junior Boys Champions
πŸ₯‡ Intermediate Boys Champions
πŸ₯‡ Senior Boys Champions
πŸ₯‡ Intermediate Girls Champions

In an incredible achievement, Redlands College claimed all three Boys Division titles on offer, showcasing the depth of talent, teamwork, and determination across the program.

Our Senior Girls also put together a fantastic campaign, narrowly missing out on a championship after a thrilling final that went right down to the wire.

What makes these results even more impressive is that they were achieved with very limited preparation time, a testament to the skill, adaptability, and competitive spirit of our students and coaches.

Congratulations to all players and staff involved on an exceptional day of competition and for representing Redlands College with such pride and sportsmanship. The future of Touch Football at Redlands is looking incredibly bright!

AFL | AFLQ Schools Cup Senior Teams

Earlier this week, our Senior AFL teams took part in the Bayside AFLQ Schools Cup Gala day held at Redland-Victoria Pt Sharks Football Club. Donning their brand-new kits, both teams took to the very wet and muddy playing arena. The weather wouldn't break their spirits, however, with both teams putting on fantastic performances to reach the grand final of their division.

The boys on their way defeated Mabel Park SHS, Cleveland DSHS & Victoria Pt SHS, going down to Carmel College in the pool stages. In the Carmel rematch for the champion title, it was Carmel that proved too strong in the end. The boys showed incredible resilience, teamwork and effort across the day, with many of the boys relatively new to the sport. Coach Mr Michael was extremely pleased with his team's outcome on the day, well done lads!

The girls, in what was a brilliant display of determination and courage in the wet weather, were a surprise packet, mostly younger players in their Senior Division. Coming out of the blocks to win their first against Victoria Pt SHS, they continued their winning ways against Carmel College, then again against Mabel Park SHS. This set up a final rematch vs Victoria Pt, where the girls put on their best performance of the day to win the game 19-6, making the Bayside AFLQ Schools Cup champs! They will now progress to the next stage of competition. Coach Mr O'Sullivan couldn't be prouder of the girls attitude and approach to the day, and was so pleased with the improvement shown.
