I am truly saddened by the passing of this glorious woman, who challenged stereotypes and walked her own goshdarned path...

I am truly saddened by the passing of this glorious woman, who challenged stereotypes and walked her own goshdarned path in whatever footwear brought her joy. I shall remember her as she preferred, as the Book Lady, who gave more than 300 MILLION books to kids worldwide. A free book every month, regardless of income, family makeup, politics or religion, free of charge, free of obligation, to kids from zero to five, anywhere. The streets of heaven have a new angelic pedestrian tonight and long may her legacy last.

Wowsers! What a weekend!!
Thank you to the ABDC crew for putting on a great weekend full of opportunities for learning, sharing, showing and enjoying!! I loved sharing my Lakshmi Goddess Workshop and performing with my glorious dancers at three of the shows, learning from so many talented teachers and storytellers and connecting with so many beautiful dancers across the weekend!!
