Round 5 was a fantastic day for Wests Junior Rugby! 🦁🏉

We were proud to welcome clubs from across Canberra to Weetangera Oval for the U8s and U9s Gala Day, while also kicking off the U7s Get Into Rugby Gala extension program.

There were some great performances across the club, but most importantly it was another weekend of teamwork, sportsmanship, and improvement from all our players. A huge thank you to our coaches, volunteers, referees, and families who helped make the day such a success.

Wests continues to grow stronger each week, and we couldn't be prouder of the way our players represent the club. ❤️🖤

Round 4 wrapped up with another fantastic weekend for Wests Junior Rugby! 🦁🏉

There were some terrific performances across the club, highlighted by another strong turnout for the U7s practice game, a solid performance in the early hours of Saturday morning from the U10s at Grammar, another convincing win from our U11s in their final game in Division 2 before stepping up to Division 1, and a hard-fought battle right to the final whistle by our U12s down in Cooma.

A huge thank you to all our players, coaches, volunteers, referees, and families for the support and energy you bring every weekend.

Now we turn our attention to an exciting Round 5 at home, where we’ll be welcoming clubs from across Canberra for the U8s and U9s Gala Day, along with the commencement of our U7s Get Into Rugby Gala Day program. We can’t wait to see Weetangera Oval buzzing with junior rugby! ❤️🖤
