Senior Pairs

Dan and Rick Roper played at Southport and won their section with 3 wins.

Terry Pappas teamed up with Peter Davies from Grandviews,
playing at Robina but were not successful in qualifying.

The knockout stages commence on Wednesday.

No players in action today in the Aust Open

Yesterday Aaron Jarosz won his first knockout game 21-10 against a WA opponent then came up against Queensland gun Jake Rinne in the next round.
Aaron was well in the game at 9-11 before Jake kicked into gear to close the game out.

Senior Pairs starts tomorrow with Waverley represented by Dan and Rick Roper at Southport and Terry Pappas playing with Peter Davies from Grandviews @ Robina

AO Day 8 edit

Mike Nagy was also in action in the 4's with Warren and Ryan Hansen and Dan Flanagan

They had a good win in the morninf against a Victorian country side but bowed out in the second knockout round to a side from Paradise Point.

Aust Open Day 8

Jen Hill played with the Clovelly ladies (Sandra Starett, Sue Snape and Gina O'Reilly) at Coolangatta.
A win, a loss and a draw was not enough to progress through to the knockout stages.

Aust Open Day 7
Mike Nagy is a section winner in the 4's with his side of Warren and Ryan Hansen (Taren Point) and Dan Flanagan (Adelaide) winning 3 from 3.

Dan Roper, Steve Gaffney and Rick Roper bowed out with a draw and two close losses.

Aust Open Day 6
Jen Hill played singles at wet and windy Helensvale.
She unfortunately drew a hot section which included the world #8 from Malaysia and was unable to progress to the knockout rounds.

Day 7 sees the men's 4's
Mike Nagy plays at Tugan playing with Warren & Ryan Hansen & Dan Flanagan.

Dan Roper, Steve Gaffney and Rick Roper team up with Andrew Mercer
from East Maitland and play at Mermaid Beach.

Aust Open Day 5
Men's Pairs

Steve Gaffney played in a strong section - losing his first by 4 but rallying well to win his remaining two games.
Unfortunately one side was undefeated - Steve and his team coming second in the section.

Scott Irving and Mike Nagy lost to Jordan Thompson in round one and had a last end narrow loss in round two before rallying well for a strong round three win.

Tomorrow is ladies singles with Jen Hill playing at Helensvale where she takes on world #8 in her opening game

Aust Open Day 4

Steve Gaffney played at Mermaid Beach and narrowly missed qualifying with 2 wins but missing out on margin.

At Nerang Rick Roper had one win from three and in the ladies pairs Jen Hill also had one win from 3.

Aaron Jarosz is our only member who has qualified for the knockout stages next weekend.

Day 5 sees Mike Nagy and Scott Irving (who qualified today in the singles with 2 wins) playing in the Open Pairs.
