🎉 BIG NEWS: OUR COMMITTEE JUST LEVELLED UP 🎉

We’ve officially expanded from a mighty 5 to a powerful 8 — because apparently we attract people who love volleyball and love making things happen.

Please give a warm, chaotic‑Bellarine welcome to our three newest committee legends:

• Jac — Corporate weapon by day, GID‑mum by night (Get. It. Done.). If efficiency had a face, it would be hers.

• Shan — A primary school teacher, which means she already has the patience of a saint. If she can wrangle 30 kids, she can definitely wrangle us.

• Youi — A soon‑to‑be forensic science graduate. Yes, we now have an aspiring CSI on the committee. No, you cannot ask him to investigate who keeps stealing the match balls… yet.

These three bring the same enthusiasm, passion, and “let’s make this club even better” energy that keeps Bellarine Volleyball thriving.

💛 Please welcome them to the team — the club is in very good hands.

🌟 TEAM HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK — THE STINGERS! 🐝💛

This week’s spotlight again goes to The Stingers, who showed up in brand‑new gold uniforms — and honestly, they lit up the whole stadium.

Even though the scoreboard didn’t fall their way last night, their energy, unity, and pride were impossible to miss. The moment they walked in, heads turned. Their bright gold kits didn’t just look incredible — they lifted the whole team’s morale and brought a spark to the court that everyone felt.

What makes this even better is that they chose to debut their uniforms after a loss, not after a win. That says everything about who they are:
✨ A team that shows up
✨ A team that backs each other
✨ A team that plays with heart, not ego
✨ A team that keeps the vibes high, no matter the result

And yes — other teams definitely noticed. More than a few players were talking about how good those uniforms looked and how they might need to step up their own jersey game.

Thank you to every single legend who hit the courts last night for our first round of Term 2. With our jump from 10 teams to 12, plus our brand‑new three‑division format, the whole place felt like a volleyball festival.

And yes… the ladder photo says it all. After Night 1, here’s how things are shaping up:

Diving Ducks came out swinging and claimed the top spot early, with Bry Bry, Parallax Blue, and Waurn Ponds Weapons all chasing. This division is already looking feral in the best way.

DIVISION 2 — Chaos, Commitment & Comebacks Loading
De‑Railerz and The Dwarves That Ruled Them All both opened with clean sweeps. New York Warriors and Kinky Sets will be hunting redemption next week — and yes, Kinky Sets officially forfeited after rolling in with only three players, but still played their hearts out. Respect.

DIVISION 3 — The Glow‑Up Division
