🥊 Why Every Woman Should Try Boxing

Boxing is so much more than throwing punches.

It’s a full-body workout that builds strength, fitness, coordination, confidence, and resilience—all while being incredibly fun.

Benefits of boxing include:
🥊 Improved cardiovascular fitness
🥊 Increased strength and power
🥊 Better balance, agility, and coordination
🥊 Stress relief and improved mental wellbeing
🥊 Enhanced confidence and self-belief
🥊 Improved bone and muscle health as we age

For women navigating busy lives, perimenopause, menopause, or simply wanting to feel stronger and more capable, boxing provides a powerful outlet that challenges both body and mind.

There’s something incredibly empowering about discovering just how strong, fast, and resilient you really are.

You don’t have to step into a ring to reap the benefits. Whether you’re hitting pads, a bag, or simply learning the fundamentals, boxing can help you build a stronger body and a stronger mindset.

Train hard. Hit harder. Feel unstoppable. 🥊🔥

Wednesday night at 5.30pm. All levels welcome, get in touch for more info.

💪 Strength Training: The Best Investment You Can Make for Your Future Self

As women age, we naturally begin to lose muscle mass, bone density, strength, and power. This can impact everything from our energy levels and metabolism to our ability to stay independent and active later in life.

The good news? Strength training is one of the most effective ways to slow—and even reverse—many of these changes.

Regular strength training can:
✅ Maintain and build muscle mass
✅ Improve bone density and reduce osteoporosis risk
✅ Support healthy body composition and metabolism
✅ Improve balance, coordination, and reduce fall risk
✅ Enhance confidence and mental wellbeing
✅ Make everyday activities easier and pain-free

Strength training isn’t about getting “bulky.” It’s about building a stronger, more capable body that supports you through every stage of life.

Whether you’re in your 30s, 50s, or beyond, it’s never too late to start. Every squat, push, pull, and lift is an investment in your future health, strength, and independence.

Don’t just age—age strong. 💪✨

Beyond our 30’s! 🙄

It can all get so confusing so I hope this helps 🤞🏻
All hope is not lost, we just have to understand our bodies & it’s processes.

Simplified. Prioritise sleep, adequate protein & …… (I’ll say it again) strength train! 😴🍳🏋️ (that doesn’t mean becoming a weight or power lifter)
The stronger we are, the better our bones are, the better we function. Assisting with anxiety, depression & over all mental health.

Don’t shrink ladies through this, stand tall, adjust your crown & keep shining! 🌟

Every woman should be strength training!

Not to get smaller.
Not to burn calories.
Not to earn her food.

But to build muscle, protect her bones, support her hormones, and maintain her independence for years to come.

Because after 30, we naturally begin losing muscle mass. During perimenopause and menopause, that process accelerates. The good news? Strength training is one of the most effective ways to fight back.

Your future self won’t care what the scales said in 2026.

She’ll care whether she can still move well, stay active, remain independent, and enjoy life without limitation.

Train for the woman you want to be in 10, 20, and 30 years—not just the body you want today. 💪❤️

Strength Training for PCOS & Endometriosis

Strength training is one of the most effective ways to support overall health when living with PCOS or endometriosis.

For PCOS, strength training can help:
✅ Improve insulin sensitivity
✅ Support hormone balance
✅ Increase lean muscle mass and metabolism
✅ Improve energy, mood, and resilience

For Endometriosis, strength training can help:
✅ Reduce inflammation
✅ Support pain management through endorphin release
✅ Improve core, hip, and pelvic stability
✅ Combat fatigue and support bone health

Training Guidelines

✔️ Aim for 2–4 strength sessions per week
✔️ Focus on progressive overload and compound movements
✔️ Prioritize recovery and daily movement
✔️ Adjust intensity during flare-ups

The Takeaway

Strength training isn’t just about weight loss or appearance.

It’s about:
💪 Better hormone regulation
💪 Improved insulin sensitivity
💪 Reduced inflammation
💪 More energy and resilience
💪 Better long-term health and quality of life

The goal isn’t to be smaller—it’s to build a stronger body that can better support you every day. ❤️💪

Skinny isn’t healthy. Strong is healthy.

For far too long, we’ve been taught that the goal is to be smaller, lighter, and take up less space. But health isn’t measured by a number on the scales—it’s measured by how well your body functions, moves, recovers, and supports you through life.

When we focus solely on weight loss, we can unintentionally sacrifice muscle mass, bone density, energy levels, and resilience. The result? A body that may be lighter, but not necessarily healthier.

When we focus on building strength, everything changes:
✔️ More lean muscle mass
✔️ Stronger bones
✔️ Better energy and metabolism
✔️ Improved recovery
✔️ Greater independence as we age
✔️ Increased confidence in what our bodies can do

As a trainer, I don’t want my clients to simply lose weight—I want them to gain strength, capability, and confidence.

The real win isn’t fitting into a smaller size.
The real win is carrying your groceries with ease, keeping up with your kids or grandkids, feeling powerful in your body, and staying active for decades to come.

The goal isn’t to be smaller. The goal is to be stronger.

What are we doing with our bodies?! - WARNING: this may upset some viewers.😱

Or a better way to look at things;
What messages are we sending to our kids?
Why aren’t we thinking longevity for ourselves?
When did we go back 30-40 years to thinking the skinny look was a good thing?
How did we become the ‘the quick fix’ generation, forgetting about hard work, consistency, & discipline? Not to mention how we feel when we roll that altogether! And the results…….OMG! It’s not just physical, it’s mental!

This skinny look might be making waves again but please don’t fall for it. IT IS NOT HEALTHY!
We want healthy muscles & bones for the sake of our health, & we should celebrate what our bodies are capable of! And what it will continue to do in our 70’s & 80’s & perhaps beyond.

BONES!

Just like muscle mass can increase at any age when we strength train, so can bone!

We lay good bone foundation when we’re young & it’s particularly important to continue that into our 20’s & 30’s.

It’s important for our kids to run, climb, jump & enjoy being active & it’s equally important for us, especially women to be as active as we can because our bones are not only useful to support our muscle, our movement but also plays an important role for our hormones!
Believe it or not, they are endocrine organs communicating & sending signals to our brain.
