Attention, Attention!!!!!!!!

An intelligence report has indicated an illegal military installation on the disputed border in vicinity of Swan Reach.

Rebel forces have established an outpost and are conducting human intelligence and surveillance operations in the local area.
Civilians are complaining of harsh new laws and property theft; the local mayor has expressed concerns about the amount of weapons and military vehicles in the area.
The mayor has also witnessed interactions between the rebel forces and cartel members and believes there has been illegal transactions made between the two.

Government forces will be deployed on the morning of May 24th as a show of force and to interdict any illegal activity.
A ready reaction force has been established in order to support government operations and will insert just after nightfall to conduct counter reconnaissance and potential sabotage missions.

Newest member of 618 with our honourable member (his son) who in a few short years will definitely be joining us on field (he'll probably play better than us..)

We had a blast today at The Battle for Waterloo
Mini milsim.

Unfortunately a few blasters went down ending the day early for a couple of us but it's always a great time when we are together

What a weekend!

We didn't walk away with the win this time but fun was still had regardless and it was great to put on a different role to our usual "government " based gameplay.

Some of us managed to play an "unarmed civilian" role a couple times and alpha 1 even got a couple of concealed carry kills (check out the video)

Overall a great weekend and a huge thank you to Battlefield SA for hosting and a massive thanks to David Walker for doing a ton of legwork organising this event.

See y'all on the field soon

Our milsim event this year will feature a departure from the traditional M81 or Multicam attire, embracing a more laid-back style instead. Alpha 1's ensemble will include a flannel shirt and jeans, paired with a battle belt and classic tan JPC. Moreover, the MK18 blaster will be introduced, focusing on accurate distance engagement rather than solely on FPS.

We have all been busy getting kit ready for operation big igloo hosted by Battlefield SA this weekend

This year a couple of us are running a sniper class and are very keen to test out some new sniper based kit for it.

We can't wait to get boots on ground for this one!!

This!

It never matters if we are on opposing sides of a milsim or a casual game, we are all brothers in this sport and for us at 618 the comraderie ia why we do it in the first place nothing brings us together like the team work we have on the gel field.

We are ecstatic to fight with and against these guys any day of the week

What keeps you going in Combat Sports?
A message from the Commander - Kurt:

I first got into this sport in 2019 after my brother Kai Winter showed me the latest craze, Gel Blasters.
We attended a local field The Battle for Waterloo and the rest is history.
We began as a wild group of misfits that wore Adidas tracksuits and wielded nothing but AKs, but since we have developed into a brotherhood. Whilst we have mostly transitioned to paint, we still get out for the occasional game of gel.
Being ADF most of my adult life, I find that combat sports keeps my tactical mind active and allows me to practice in a competitive environment.
I take pride in being able to teach others the basics and I am nothing but proud of what my team has been able to accomplish over the years, being the largest and most dominant Milsim team in SA.
Without Gel I may have never developed the bonds I have with these men I now call BROTHERS.
Combat Sports gives the average joe an outlet to get off the couch and go compete against like minded people in a friendly environment.
You maintain fitness, learn new skills and meet new people... I wouldnt change that for the world. ✌️😍

Big shoutout to the boys - Australian Redfor Group - South and my right hand man James Fawke for tolerating me/ supporting me through my journey.
