This!
It never matters if we are on opposing sides of a milsim or a casual game, we are all brothers in this sport and for us at 618 the comraderie ia why we do it in the first place nothing brings us together like the team work we have on the gel field.
We are ecstatic to fight with and against these guys any day of the week
What keeps you going in Combat Sports?
A message from the Commander - Kurt:
I first got into this sport in 2019 after my brother Kai Winter showed me the latest craze, Gel Blasters.
We attended a local field The Battle for Waterloo and the rest is history.
We began as a wild group of misfits that wore Adidas tracksuits and wielded nothing but AKs, but since we have developed into a brotherhood. Whilst we have mostly transitioned to paint, we still get out for the occasional game of gel.
Being ADF most of my adult life, I find that combat sports keeps my tactical mind active and allows me to practice in a competitive environment.
I take pride in being able to teach others the basics and I am nothing but proud of what my team has been able to accomplish over the years, being the largest and most dominant Milsim team in SA.
Without Gel I may have never developed the bonds I have with these men I now call BROTHERS.
Combat Sports gives the average joe an outlet to get off the couch and go compete against like minded people in a friendly environment.
You maintain fitness, learn new skills and meet new people... I wouldnt change that for the world. ✌️😍
Big shoutout to the boys - Australian Redfor Group - South and my right hand man James Fawke for tolerating me/ supporting me through my journey.
