This is the SMA connector that screws into the radio. The plastic cover screws down snug on most handhelds. Fits most Baofeng radios.

So some questions have been asked about Sim start times etc.
Just jump on the events under OP: Crucible - 24hr Gel Milsim and click about.
Start arriving between 0830-0900 on the 21st of June!

Good advice Comrades, be prepared! 😈

Ladies and Gents,

In preparation for OP: Crucible please ensure that you have appropriate cold weather kit.
In the lead up to tax time, you should see some bargains dropping at your local BIG W, Kmart Australia, Target Australia, Rivers, Anaconda Stores, BCF, Tentworld and Mitchells Adventure - Melrose Park.

We recommend the following:
- Base Layer= Undershirt.
- Mid Layer= Puffer vest/ fleece or liner. (There are ones that pack down tiny)
- Outer Layer= Camo overshirt.
*Mid and outer layer are interchangeable/ wear it however you like.
- Over Top = Para Smock/ Camo windproof jacket.

PONCHO! Or Rain Jacket

Sleeping Gear:
- Winter weight sleeping bag/ swag.
-5 to -10 comfort rated (or better) with a hood.
- You can also get thin fleece, cotton or silk liners for added heat.

For those not swagging:
- Tent (wind break)
- Bivvy Bag (wind break/ water proof)
- Inflatable or foam mattress to insulate you from the ground.

Other good things to have:
- Beanie
- Gloves
- Hand warmer packets for your pockets, sleeping bag.

We do not recommend thermal/ skivvy base layers because people tend to forget and leave them on... they then get into a fire fight and overheat. It's easier to strip back outer layers.
