They think they’re just dancing… 🩷

But while they’re singing, clapping, pretending, remembering routines and moving their little bodies, there’s SO much more going on.

They’re listening. Learning new words. Remembering sequences. Exploring sounds. Using their imagination. And all of those things can help build the foundations for early literacy.

That’s one of the things we love most about READY SET DANCE - they’re learning without even realising they’re learning. 🥰

And having a whole lot of fun while they do it! ✨

For all the driving, waiting, costume carrying, concert watching and pretending you totally understand what we mean when we say “she’s got ballet, jazz AND tap tonight”… 😂

READY SET ACRO is all about building strength, balance, coordination and body awareness, while learning those all-important acro foundations safely.

And with Miss Bonnie and Miss Lucy assisting, our little dancers have plenty of helping hands while they build the confidence to give things a go. 🥰

Learning new skills + having a whole lot of fun while they do it. That’s what we love to see!

It’s starting to feel a little like CONCERT SEASON! 👀✨ (insert excited crazy dance here!)

Miss Bonnie & Miss Tracey have been out costume hunting and we may be just a little excited about what’s coming. 😍

The ideas are flowing, the costumes are coming together and we cannot WAIT to see it all on stage!

What a weekend for our Intensive Teams! 🩷🖤

Of course we’re proud of the fantastic results, but we’re even prouder of how our dancers showed up - focused, supportive, resilient and an absolute credit to Silhouette.

There were highs, there were lessons, there were some VERY tired dancers 😂 and there were moments where they had to dig deep and remember why they’re there in the first place…

Because they LOVE to dance.

So proud of every dancer, every team and everything we’re learning along the way. 🩷🖤

They’re listening, waiting their turn, following instructions, finding their confidence and learning how to be part of a class.

And yes… there’s plenty of dancing, giggling and silliness in between. 😂
