It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Margo Cory, one of the foundation members of Eastern Suburbs Junior Rugby League.

Margo’s dedication, passion, and commitment to our club and the junior rugby league community helped build the strong foundations we stand on today. Her contribution and legacy will forever remain part of our club’s history.

Our heartfelt condolences are with Margo’s family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

🚨 We’re getting ready to launch Round 2 of our Play On! Sports Vouchers 🏉

⚠️ Important reminder for families:
Every Queensland child aged 5 to 17 is eligible for one voucher per financial year. If your child received a Play On! Sports Voucher in Round 1 (August/September 2025), they won’t be eligible for this round — so there’s no need to jump online when applications open.

📅 Play On! Sports Vouchers Round 2 opens 29th January — let’s get more Queensland kids into sport and active recreation!

Following our AGM this morning- Warwick Cowboys Junior Rugby League are proud to announce the appointment of our Executive Committee for the 2026 season.

This dedicated group of volunteers will lead our club into an exciting year of junior rugby league, supporting our players, families, and community both on and off the field.

Exciting news! Toowoomba Junior Rugby League will be introducing an Under 11 Girls competition in 2026 for girls aged 10 and 11.

The Warwick Cowboys JRL are eager to field as many teams as possible in 2026, and we are now seeking expressions of interest from girls born in 2015 and 2016 who would like to be part of our Under 11 Girls team.

If you have a daughter, family member, or know of a girl who may be keen to play tackle rugby league in 2026, we would love to hear from you!

We can’t wait to see more girls joining the Cowboys family and being part of this exciting new chapter for junior rugby league in Warwick.
