Southern Downs Sporting Clays recently received funding through the generous support of the Queensland Government and the Gambling Community Benefit Fund Queensland to build a shade structure at our Club
As we are based in a rural area with limited infrastructure, the grant allowed us to build a shade structure to protect competitors from the elements. The project was completed just before a recent 3 day event attended by 200 competitors, making the days far more comfortable and enjoyable for everyone.
The support that the Queensland Government and the Gambling Community Benefit Fund Queensland gives Clubs like ours is invaluable and helps us to grow our Club and our sport and give back to the local community. Thank you.
