Whitford Hockey Club in Perth, Western Australia aims to be the premier hockey club in Perth’s northern suburbs. With teams in elite-level competitions such as Promotion 1 for men and women Whitford Hockey Club offers the opportunity for even the most accomplished player to improve with the assistance of a professional coaching team and management. The Club has a comprehensive strategic plan covering coaching, umpiring, volunteer and player development for both senior and junior pathways, facilities development and professional financial and administrative management. It is one of the largest clubs in Western Australia but retains a friendly, healthy community focus. In 2017 the club moved to their new state of the art home at Warwick Hockey Centre. This is a $7 million dollar turf, grass and clubroom development at Warwick Open Space. Something the club had been working towards for more than 7 years.

It's that time of the year again when we celebrate the achievements of our senior teams and players from the 2026 season.

Congratulations to Ashley Murphy who will be playing her 50th WHC Premier League Game this Saturday! Ashley is a home grown player who started at Whitford as a minkey in 2011. From there Ashley has played all of her junior hockey at the club and made her Premier League debut in 2023. Ashley has cemented herself in our first Team as a talented halfback with her long reach, speed and ball distribution skills.

Since 2023 she has been committed to the Junior Player Development of the club by coaching some of our Junior Teams, where this year she has taken on the 9/10 division 1 girls, and has also played a major role in Junior Preseason coaching and development squad over the past couple of years. Congratulations Ashley we are so proud of your journey so far!
