The true hero of the Enduro race today was this guy who developed the race strategy, called riders in for stops (with his amazing cardboard pit board) and facilitated transponder swaps during the pits.

Most efficient stops of the race by a mile.

Team photo from today's Ricondi 2 hour Enduro Unlimited today at Morgan Park.

Team vK and Team Matthew Robins teamed up to compete in the event which lasted for 2 hours in total and involved multiple pit stops for the half hour stints.

PB for both riders with Dave getting his first 1.29.10 at Morgan Park.

Heaps of fun.

Team vK are back for 2019. We have two riders competing this weekend at Warwick in the Southern Downs comp.
Leathers? ✔
Boots? ✔
Helmet? ✔
Enough tread on tyres? ✔
Full tank of fuel? ❌

Someone ran out of fuel half way thru a session and a bike was pushed back into the pits.

Dave is the lone representative of Team vK at this weekends meet. Consistently 7th in Quali and races 1 and 2 but he beat his main rival in the second race so is stoked about that.

Willem is home safely from the hospital and no doubt is being an amazing and non-demanding 🤣 patient.

Final race for the weekend. Willem in 4th and Dave in 6th.

Happy to report no damage to Dave or his bike. The kangaroo received a mild concussion but should make a full recovery.

Another big weekend for Team vK Racing out at Morgan Park Raceway.

Yesterday in qualifying Willem got a front row position in 3rd with Dave in at No 7.

Race 1 yesterday afternoon saw Willem finish in 4th but relegated to 7th after a jump start (front row nerves). Dave was running in 4th but ran wide on the second last lap and ended in 8th.

Racing so far today...

Race 2 earlier this morning saw Willem in 4th and Dave in 9th.

Race 3 this afternoon Willem finished in 2nd place and has been so consistent in beating his PBs that he's about to be kicked out of their race class!! Might be ready to play with the big boys Billo!?

Dave finished 8th in Race 3 and he hit a roo on his bike. Waiting for reports on Dave, the bike and the roo now.

The team boss just couldn't stay away. Klaas popped out to the track to make sure the boys were looking after their tyres.
