ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Wicked Wednesday was definitely a beautiful day to play bowls. Faye had the teams well organised and even played herself for a change. That holiday must have done some good after all.

Now working out the winners took a long time, but after a drink or two by everyone waiting for the results, somehow Faye Flint and Marion Cirson won with the most ends. 👏👏

👍 Gary Cooper and Caroline Phillips won the runners up prize with some more suspicious activity by the adjudicators.

I think we will have to get some new artificial intelligence to work it out next time instead of blaming the scorecard errors.

Anyway, I’m sure we all had a good time thanks to all the volunteer workers.

MT FUJI SCONES

Saturday, we had the Best Prizes Social Day sponsored by Cathy and Barry Best. Cathy won the $25 in the raffle. Vic Skilton, Michele Murray and Peter Cirson won the prizes.

There was plenty of food for smoko, but seriously I don’t know how you can fit so much jam and cream on the scones.

The green ran faster than it has been for a while and caught a few of us out. Either that or the rain made us stronger.

TWICE THE TROUBLE

Wow, what another great day for Two For Two’s Day, with only a slight bit of moisture in the third round.

🏁 The Siamese Twins managed to get the highest overall score again. Congratulations Clark Davidson and Dave Scotney. 👏👏

Runners-up were the tough team of Maree Ball and Carl Sutherland from the Summit. Well done.

First round winners were Lyn Mulcahy with Wendy Nerney from the Warwick Club.

Second round went to Charlie Ackland and Maria Braun from Southern Cross and third round to Wendy Worssell and Wayne Foster from Warwick East.

In the raffle, a fruit tray went to Lyn Mulcahy.
Glen Preston won a meat tray, while Caroline Phillips received a fruit tray.

There was also a mystery prize of chocolates that went to Nick Farmer. I bet they were gone before he got home!

The organisers and all the volunteers did a great job as usual and thanks to all those competitors who had to travel a bit extra. 👏👏
