Conners Racing Stables Racehorse training stable Marc also spent time working at leading stables in England and the USA before taking out his licence as a trainer.

Marc is a Group One winning trainer who began his career working for his father, Clarry Conners (four times winning trainer of the Golden Slipper). Marc received a thorough grounding under the tutelage of Clarry and grandfather, Clarry Snr, in turning out racehorses that have every chance of winning. Marc trained his first metropolitan winner, Stellarwood, at Warwick Farm on December 6, 1994. With

only a small stable, Marc has made a remarkable start to his career training the mare Camino Rose to win the Group One Coolmore Classic at Rosehill Gardens, Crown Princess to win the Group Three MRC Thouroughbred Club Stakes, Western Beau the Heritage Stakes at Rosehill, Mr Martini the Group Three Kingston Town Stakes at Rosehill and My Middi the Listed Jayco Cup at Caulfield. He has also trained the sprinter Nan Tien to win two Listed Races and the mare Aphasia to win the Listed Wyong Cup in 1997. In 2007/2008 Star of Crown was the leading BOBS Bonus Scheme winner in NSW.

On June 13th, we’re coming together at Rosehill Gardens to raise money for the Melanoma Institute of Australia — a cause that means everything to our family after Mum’s melanoma diagnosis. Thanks to research and treatment, she’s still here today.
