Our Junior Team Leadership Program gives young karate students the opportunity to develop confidence, responsibility, communication and leadership skills while assisting and encouraging our younger students.

It’s about much more than karate — it’s about building capable, respectful young people who learn to lead by example. ❤️🥋

A huge congratulations to all of our students who competed and judged at today’s karate tournament, and a big thank you to the families and support crew who were there cheering everyone on. ❤️

Win or lose, there is so much to be gained from participating in a martial arts tournament. It’s about far more than medals and results. It’s about developing valuable life skills — learning to perform confidently under pressure, overcoming fears, navigating setbacks, building resilience and growing in self-confidence.

We were incredibly proud of the attitude shown by every one of our students today. Our winners were humble, everyone demonstrated wonderful respect and sportsmanship, and you represented our dojo with pride.

A wonderful day of karate, personal growth and supporting one another. 👊🥋

We are pleased to invite ALL martial artists, all styles and all dojos to join us for a special Okinawan Genbu Ryu Kobudo Seminar in Warrnambool, Victoria, the day before AMAC Victorian Round 1 – 2027.

Hosted by Okinawan Genbu Ryu Kobudo Organisation and Kancho Peter Mylonas, this is a fantastic opportunity to come together, train, learn and share the spirit of Okinawan Kobudo and Budo.
