Brief History Of Adrenalin
Adrenalin martial arts was founded by head instructor, Ted Argyle, in 1996. Adrenalin was the first full time martial arts school in the south-west. When Adrenalin first opened its doors it was predominately a competition based school. Ted and his team focused heavily on preparing fighters for ametuer bouts in Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Boxing. After much success in the competition scene Ted's focus as an instructor and school owner shifted when he sustained an injury from overtraining. That injury was the catalyst for a more well rounded, sensible and safe approach to training. Ted realised that the bulk of students coming into the school each week were never going to compete and training had to be a reflection of that. Some of the original student base went on to form their own schools and clubs in the Warrnambool area and interstate. These schools and clubs have used many of the training practices that were used in Adrenalin's original inception to great success.
Fast forward to today and Adrenalin has grown into a successful school that has a diverse curriculum and student base. Current students enjoy a safe and structured curriculum that includes Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, Martial Arts Weaponry and Self Defence. Uniquely, Adrenalin allows students to follow their interests and passions within the curriculum and develop in to the martial artists that they wish to be.
