We are back!
The OG Southern_4x4 team will be hitting the tracks in Dunolly in a couple weeks, have we lost our touch? Only time will tell!

Around 3 years ago Southern 4x4 Chief Navi, Sally Mibus, sliced her hand up whilst trying to cut me a piece of birthday cake at Glenn’s birthday. She was rushed to hospital and went through several bouts of micro surgery to repair nerves and tendons in her hand and fingers. It’s been a long, tedious remedial process and she hasn’t been able to Navi in that time.
But Sal’s Back!
Southern 4x4 has the band back together.
Glenn is back behind the wheel, Sal is back behind the Laptop and Jakey will have his Hawkeyes out spotting those answers like an Eagle plucking a mouse out of a paddock.
This is going to be exciting!

Here are all the moments I captured last weekend while helping lead a 4WD trip thru the BIG Desert & along the open section of the Vic/SA border track to Frances. Thanks to the Warrnambool 4WD Club members & Southern_4x4 followers who allowed me to participate in their ADVENTURE, Shane Magrath Chris Bell Sam Fisk John Wason & many others. It was great to meet you all!

4WD Events Australia has once again put on a FANTASTIC event. The effort these guys put in to creating an ADVENTURE thru the bush & the lengths they go to make the EXPERIENCE unique is AMAZING!

After arriving to find my team had given away a 50pt head start on the FIRST STAGE to the other competitors, i knew my navigation had to be spot on over the next 2 stages.

PERFECT ROUTES on both stages put us in the right place to answer the questions, but a couple curly questions stopped us getting perfect course scores, but it didn't matter we still came away with the WIN!

The strangest beginning to a 4WD Events Australia Goldfields Challenge for me this weekend. Started the weekend at a mates wedding, while my team completed the first event stage without me, before hitting the road straight after the reception & arriving at the event at 2am.
NavStars 2.0 is a new team combination so let's see how we go! We have 2 days to make up the mistakes of day #1 🤣
