U14-1 (26) Vs. St Clair (4) at Warrimoo Oval

Brilliant start to the game, up 18โ€“0 after 20 minutes.

Unfortunately, poor ball handling and lapses in concentration meant that we couldn't fully put the foot down.

Good to get the win against the St Clair side. The boys defended well, keeping the opposition to only one try.

U15-1 (6) Vs. Brothers (20) at Warrimoo Oval

The boys defended well in the middle, but Brothers found space and numbers on our edges in attack.

After a slow start from us, I felt we worked hard to get ourselves back in the game in the second half. We had attacking opportunities in the middle of the second half with the scoreline at 16โ€“6.

I felt we missed a few chances and opportunities when attacking their goal line in the second half.

I was extremely happy with the boys. The fact they didnโ€™t give up late in the second half, when the game was out of reach, was pleasing to see.

U14-GLT (8) Vs. Penrith Waratahs (14) at Doug Rennie Field

The U14 Girls League Tag side were defeated 14โ€“8 by Penrith Waratahs at Doug Rennie Fields, Kingswood, but there was plenty to like about the way the girls fought the game out in tough wet conditions.

The first half was a real battle, with the girls unable to build any momentum or possession. They completed just three sets of six for the half, and a mix of errors and poor ball control handed Penrith Waratahs the bulk of the possession, leaving the girls defending for most of the half.

The second half was a completely different story.

Once the girls started to get some possession and shift the ball wide, the momentum turned. They began making breaks almost every set and were clearly the dominant side in the second half, crossing for two tries to the Waratahsโ€™ one. The game was nearly squared up right on full-time, with an intercept attempt only just going to ground.

After being forced to do so much defence in the first half, the task of running the lead down was always going to be difficult, but the girls never gave in and were right in the contest until the final siren.

It was a strong response after the break and one that should give the side plenty of confidence. If these two teams meet again later in the season, there is every reason to believe the result could be different.

U13-1 (30) Vs. Western City (14) at Warrimoo Oval

What a performance. The boys are continuing to build momentum this season and this week was another reminder of how well they are playing as a team and their individual roles.

Lucas is playing some freakish football with speed and balance and got us off to a good start, breaking through the players and scoring in the first five minutes. He went on to score another two tries. Hayden played well in the middle, consistently generating fast play-the-balls and giving the team the platform they needed.

Thomas stepped up into the right centre role for the first time and defended with real purpose and finished with a well-deserved try. Lenny was a constant threat, making powerful runs and putting in solid defensive work. Hux continues to be one of those players who makes everything around him work. His consistency and game awareness are genuinely making a difference to how this team functions week to week.

Brooklyn is growing in confidence with every game, working hard going forward and showing great effort. Billy is always great on his feet, making metres and creating quick play-the-balls, and adding a try to cap off another strong performance. Nigel is really finding his feet, running the ball forward with growing confidence and rewarding himself with a try.

A special mention to Jude, who made his debut this week and had a great start, working hard, gaining good metres and fitting into the team.

The boys are really coming together. Their football is impressive, the roles are being filled and, with some exciting new additions joining the team, the best is still to come. Keep showing up, keep improving โ€” it's exciting to watch!

U16-GLT (36) Vs. St Patricks (0) at Doug Rennie Field

What a great game today! The girls came out firing from the first whistle, putting the opposition under pressure straight away and making tags left, right and centre.

Our defence was outstanding throughout the match, keeping the other team scoreless with strong teamwork and determination.

Ruby had an incredible game, scoring four tries, while Georgie and Charlie each crossed for a try as well. Bella added two conversions, while Charlie and Georgie added one each.

A special mention to Summer as team captain this week for her excellent tagging efforts, helping to shut down the opposition's attack.

A big thank you to Holly Loudon from the Under 14s for backing up today. She fit in brilliantly with the team and even scored a fantastic try for us.

Week after week, the girls continue to improve, showing more confidence, skill and teamwork as the competition progresses. Itโ€™s great to see their hard work paying off, and they should all be very proud of their efforts today.
