Lawn bowls v Archery. A little tongue in cheek comparison

Archery, they say, is a sport of grace and power, the arrow a missile of focused intent. Pshaw! Give me the subtle dance of the lawn bowl, the intricate read of the green, the whispered prayers to the wind gods. Archery? Point and shoot. Lawn bowls? A symphony of strategy, a ballet of bias, a constant negotiation with the capricious whims of the grass.
