IYC SAILORS VISIT St. GEORGE SAILING CLUB

A group of 10 IYC Sailing members and supporters visited St.GSC on Saturday 5th April to watch the 16ft Skiff racing. 3 Skiffs (TTRCivil, IGD and R Beauchamp Metal Workers) were sailed by ex IYC sailors.
With a 15knot SE breeze, the racing was in front of the club with exciting and close racing between the 11 skiffs sailing.
A great day for the IYC sailing visitors and some good results for the Skiffs with ex IYC sailors on board. Congratulations to TTRCivil with Richard Nardone and Ryan Lindsay crewing who finished 3rd on Scratch and 1st on Handicap. R Beauchamp Metal Workers with Sam Fetherson skippering finished in 6th on scratch and 4th on handicap. IGD skippered by Paul Linnett was a DNF on the day.

IYC Sailing Visit to St George SC

Calling all IYC sailors to join us on Saturday 5th April 2025 to watch the 16ft Skiffs racing at St George SC.

3 skiffs have ex IYC sailors on board; TTR Civil, R Beauchamp Metal and IGD.

There will be time to chat up with all the Skiff sailors as well as watch the racing.

The Sailing Committee has just CALLED OFF today's PS race due to Strong wind warning, forecast Southerly 24 - 34 knots this afternoon and our safety on the water.
Next week is our no sailing weekend.
