Grade 4 & 5’s are at a fast stage of development. Kids are often going through growth spurts that can impact coordination, while their control and hand-eye coordination continue to improve!
You’ll also see differences in strength and control from one side of the body to the other as they develop. They’re figuring out who they are - testing confidence, attitudes and how they show up in a group.
At this age, skills can sometimes feel inconsistent. One week something clicks, the next it doesn’t - but learning to stay focused, push through and keep trying is where real progress happens.
It’s also a stage where many kids are balancing multiple sports. Gymnastics builds strength, coordination and resilience that carries across everything they do ⭐️
