đź’ˇ The lights are up!

It feels like we’ve been waiting forever, but they’re finally here and fully operational.

That means it’s time to say goodbye to our temporary lighting and hello to brighter nights, better visibility, and even more pickleball at Warragul Pickleball Club.

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience while we’ve been getting everything ready. Seeing the courts lit up properly is a pretty exciting milestone for the club and another step forward in building something special for the Warragul community.

🏆 Don’t forget — this Monday is the King’s Birthday Cup!

A one-night-only tournament running over 3 hours, with plenty of games, great competition, and a fantastic club atmosphere.

Whether you’re chasing the title or just looking for a fun night on the courts, we’d love to see you there.

One night. Multiple partners. One champion.

We're mixing things up this King's Birthday long weekend with a special one-night-only individual pickleball tournament.

You'll partner with different players throughout the night, face a variety of opponents, earn points, and battle your way up the leaderboard in a fast-paced scrambler format.

Whether you're one of our regular competitors or you've only recently discovered pickleball, this is your chance to test yourself, meet some great people, and have a crack at the crown.

There has been a bit going on behind the scenes lately… hence the lack of posting 👀

But wow… what a first couple of weeks it’s been.

Just over two and a half weeks in, and the response from the community has honestly blown us away. From the people who have come down once to those already making WPC part of their weekly routine — thank you. The support, energy and atmosphere around the club has been unreal.

What’s been even better than the rallies and games though, has been seeing people connect.

People meeting new mates.
Families hanging around after sessions.
Players encouraging each other.
Beginner players giving it a crack.
Good chats between games.
A real community starting to build.

That’s exactly what we hoped this place would become.

Yes, we want great courts and great pickleball…
But more than that, we want WPC to be a hub. A place where people can come play, have a laugh, move their body, improve their game and genuinely feel connected.

We’re still only getting started, and there’s plenty more to come over the next few months.

We are open! Soft launch is here! Last night we kicked off week 1 of our comp night. With 20 players eager to hit the courts and all 5 courts full! There was plenty of good rallies and laughs last night and competitive field!

We do have a social Hit tomorrow,

Pickleball officially has a dedicated home in Warragul.
After months of planning, building and hard work behind the scenes, we’re excited to officially open the courts for our soft launch week at Warragul Pickleball Club.

This is just the beginning — but we’re opening the doors now so the community can jump on court, have a hit and be part of building something special from day one.

Over the next week we’ll have:
✔️ Social Hit sessions
✔️ Beginner-friendly Learn to Play sessions
✔️ Comp Night
✔️ Daytime and evening sessions
✔️ Brand new purpose-built courts

Whether you’ve never picked up a paddle before, used to play another racquet sport, or already love pickleball, these sessions are designed to be welcoming, social and easy to jump into.

Our Learn to Play sessions are perfect for beginners, while our Social Hits are a relaxed way to meet people, rotate courts and simply enjoy the game.

We’ve already seen huge interest from the local community and surrounding areas, and this is only our soft launch schedule — there’ll be even more sessions, leagues, events and competitions coming as we fully open.

- Individual entry — no partner required
- Scrambler format — new partner each round
- Minimum 3–4 games per player each night
- Fast-paced games (to 11 or timed)

- 6-week season building towards finals
