Good luck to GHTC student Nathan Rothwell for your first race drive(s) tomorrow.
19 solid months of commitment, sacrifice, lots of late nights, early mornings, never missing a race meeting, pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, taking on any challenge, trusting your teachers, personal growth, learning from mistakes and taking advice with grace and dignity.

Congratulations, we are so very proud of you!

Unfortunately, the regional restrictions that are being lifted still don't allow us to have students back at the stables.
We will continue to learn from home for now and hope we can be back with the horses soon!

The Victorian Government has advised some changes to restrictions for regional Victoria.

ECG COLLEGE:
Senior VCAL will return to the classroom from Friday at Warragul and Leongatha. Foundation and Intermediate classes, as well as our Pakenham students, will continue learning from home.

Students who are struggling to learn from home and need extra support can still attend on campus. Contacting your Lead Teacher before coming in is essential.

All students attending campus must wear masks both inside and outside. Students are asked to check-in using the QR code each time they arrive on site.

CCG:
Students will continue to learn from home.

The GHTC is proud to announce we will be providing our quality stablehand training to thoroughbred participants at Cranbourne and Ballarat starting soon.
This will be short intense training for people starting their careers in a racing stable environment.
This will not impact our harness training students, but will open some greater opportunities for people in both codes outside of Gippsland.

Racing Victoria has taken steps to boost its support for industry participants and job seekers by creating new training opportunities for those entering the sport or looking to advance their career.

22/08/2021

Following public health advice, the Victorian Government has extended the current lockdown status to include regional Victoria from 1pm, 21 August 2021. This means new restrictions for our Leongatha and Warragul campuses.

CCG:
All students will learn from home for the duration of lockdown.

ECG COLLEGE:
Students will return to remote learning from Monday, 23 August. Students who are struggling to learn from home and need extra support can still attend on campus. Contacting your Lead Teacher before coming in is essential. All students attending campus must wear masks both inside and outside. Students are asked to check-in using the QR code each time they arrive on site.

Stay safe! We will see you online.
