Warradale Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Troy Rombola.

Troy was far more than a sponsor to our club. Through his business, Spillway Bistro, he generously supported Warradale FC and many other sporting clubs throughout our community. His backing of both our summer and winter competitions, while also playing in our summer soccer himself, showed just how committed he was to local sport and the people involved in it.

Troy was always there when the club needed him. From annual presentation nights and club anniversaries to social functions and get-togethers, his fantastic food and catering helped bring people together and create lasting memories. He never hesitated to lend a hand, always with warmth, generosity, and a genuine love for community.

Above all else, Troy was a fantastic man — a loving father, a true gentleman, and someone with a big heart who went out of his way to help others whenever he could. He made many friends, touched many lives, and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, friendship, and community spirit.

Some of our best conversations were shared on the club verandah at the end of the night — a drink in hand, a laugh, and a hit — moments that will be remembered fondly by all who were lucky enough to share them with him.

Warradale Football Club extends its sincere condolences to Mickey, Troy’s family, and his many friends. We are shocked and heartbroken by his loss, and Troy will be dearly missed by everyone at our club and across the wider community.

Rest in peace, Troy. Thank you for everything.

Summer Football – Free Sausage BBQ ⚽🌭

We’ll be putting on a free sausage BBQ for players and supporters on Wednesday and Thursday!

Everyone is welcome to come down, grab a feed, and enjoy the football.

Important note for Thursday games:
Game times may run slightly later than scheduled due to a medal presentation being held for teams after each game time slot.

🎅🏼 We also have a special guest arriving at 7pm so make sure you grab something to eat while you wait ☺️☺️

🌞⚽ Mulgoa Warradale Summer Football – We Need Your Help! ⚽🌞

Hi everyone! 👋

As we get ready for another amazing summer of football fun, we’re reaching out to our awesome members for a little helping hand 🙏

To make sure everything runs smoothly each week, we’re asking for volunteers to help with set up and pack up before and after games. Many hands make light work – and a few minutes of your time really makes a big difference! 💪

Here’s how you can help 👇

⚽ Mini Roos Fields (U6 & U7)

6pm Games: Please arrive 30 minutes early. A different volunteer each week can help walk the goals out and unfold them at your field.

7pm Games: Please help fold the goals up and return them to the outside of the storeroom beside the canteen after your game.

⚽ Mod Fields, Junior Fields & Main Fields

6pm Teams: Volunteers to help with field set up before games.

7pm Teams: Volunteers to help with pack up – letting goals down and packing them into bags (we’ll collect them from the fields).

🔥 BBQ & Canteen Helpers are also always welcome – even a short shift helps keep things sizzling and running smoothly!

Our committee members do their best to get everything ready, but many of us come straight from work, and time isn’t always on our side ⏰.
Just a few extra hands at the start and finish of games ensures everything’s ready for kick-off and helps us wrap up faster at the end of the night.

We truly appreciate your help, support, and understanding 💚
Let’s work together to make this season our best one yet!

Summer Football Coaches & Managers.

Hi all,

Can i please ask all Junior teams coaches or managers to please complete their games score in dribl each week after the completion of your game. we have only 1 complete game from round 1.
We will also need to be informed of your scores from last week as we will now need to enter them into Dribl.
Can i ask that you try to enter your scores into Dribl and if you are unable to please email the teams and score to [email protected].

Attention Coaches & Managers

We still have a number of kit bags that have yet to be returned.

We will be holding another kit bag return on Tuesday the 21/10. We will also accept returns on the 19/10 during Dam Fest, ONLY between the times listed below.

If you are not able to make either of these days, please contact the club. It is important that we get all the bags returned as the club house needs to be packed up for our move to our temporary grounds at Mulgoa.
