Gordon Murdocks funeral today was very well attended. He was a stalwart of our club and we were proud to be asked to cater for his funeral, our club wishes to offer sincere condolences to his family and friends.
A big turnout to honour Gordon which he would have been surprised and humbled to see. The mourners were estimated at 250 people.

Kay Selth, Jeanne Algate, Karyn May, Fiona Bilney and Rhonda photographed along with Jutta Rigoni absent from the photo did a magnificent job in catering for such large numbers at short notice.

Absent from the photo who also made a great contribution Gloria Newbold, Dawn Detmar, Wendy Koennecke and Jan Larcombe for her initial organisation.

Great job ladies.

It was with great sadness that we learnt this week of the passing of Gordon Murdoch. He was a huge part of our club for many years and served on our board in various positions.
He was a real pillar of the club.
Gordon had a great life and held on to become a centurion.
We wish to express our sincere condolences to his friends and family.
